Really who does that?

My week of hell is finally done. between the career fair and the home show, I was at the Civic Center 5 days last week. The home show was very very long and quite boring. I'm definitely going to make a case to management to not attend it next year since we got very few leads on new clients, I highly doubt it offset the entry fee we paid to be at the show, plus all my wages and lost revenues from me not being out in the field.

Yesterday when the show was over, me and the sales associate that was there with me loaded up our smaller display items and drove up to the store to get our delivery truck to load up our 2 large TVs and other large items. When we got back about 40 minutes later, we'd found that our 40" TV and Blu-Ray player were stolen. These items are worth about $3000, so we were slightly upset. After reviewing the security camera footage with the civic center employees and giving a statement to the police, it was 2 hours past what I'd planned on being there.

I'm just hoping management doesn't try to blame me for the theft of the TV. I let the manager on duty last night know the story, and I haven't gotten in trouble yet, but we'll see. There will be hell to pay though if they do try and pin this on me and reprimand me or write me up. I'm a computer technician, not a security guard for our products.
